Our clients had the sort of garden that typically comes with a new build – just some badly draining grass and also a slope to deal with. Seating areas, a flatter lawn area, pergola and water feature were all on their wish list.
To deal with the issue of the sloping garden and the sodden lawn, new drainage was installed and retaining walls created to match in with the house. Two seating areas were built using stunning porcelain paving. The top patio area had a bespoke pergola constructed then painted to match in with the fencing.
The retaining walls meant we could then lay a new, more level lawn which was edged with setts to give it a nice neat finish which is easy to maintain. A beautiful new stone water feature was installed along with some feature timber posts. Finally some lovely planting was added in a gravel border and lighting installed to finish off the look.
At the front we added new edged lawn, gravel, planting, feature pots and a new path to complete the transformation front and back!
